The axis. This one must serve two decks for stereo and has to be replaced by a longer one.
You can use aluminum here. Be sure you make it to the exact size as the plastic molding at the deck is easily jammed.
Determining the steps. As you can see here, this is done through adjusting two rings with little nocks on them. These switches have a 26 steps maximum of which 2 are not used.
You can loosen up the adjustable rings with these two screws at the front side of the switch right next/after the shaft.
Now the second deck can be added. This is easily done in using a longer bolt and a buss. Watch the position of the selector in doing this.
