On top mounting of paper-in-oils is often a problem. Most come with clamps or something, however these don't have them. In using metal-glue and M5 stainless steel bolts, you can provide in your own mounting.

Metal-glue from Bison. Two components, can withstand a 180kg/cm2 force... More than sufficient here. I tried to remove the glued bolts with my bare hands though only bent the capacitors housing...

To determine the place of the holes to be drilled, I mostly use a piece of paper with the exact sizes to copy them on to the chassis.

The wooden eclosure is made out of Bankirai, a tropical kind of wood. Using the router the copper plate is embedded into the wood and is glued to the wood using silicon glue. This silicon glue is applied between wood and copper, providing in a shock-mounted chassis...

Close-up of the Bankirai. You can make the chassis to your liking, using all kinds of materials. When finished and listening to your amp, you have something nice to look at...

The mains connection. Be sure to put in a strain relief! (tie-rap close to the copper). Also a fuse is to be put in, place it before the mains switch. Fusetype slow-blow has to be used in (most) tubeamplifiers, 400mA is sufficient here (230V AC).
