And so this project ends. Installing the mighty 845's in a preamplifier. Running at little less than 450 Volts on the plate at 46mA, good for little over 5 Watts output power when driven correctly.

Installed the input transformers, the very musical Tamura TD-2. Vintage cathode resistors at a value of 1K2 at 6 Watt with Silmic II cathode bypass capacitor. Wiring is old Western Electric 20GA..

The Coleman heaters just arrived and were mounted just beneath the copper faceplate with on top a pair of heatsinks. The Tamura line out transformer s are mounted on top and the TVC's by Audio Consulting
